DCTM’s annual inter college fest Endeavour Unlimited 2k16 witnessed the closing ceremony on 16th Feb’16. The mega event witnessed the participation of over 20 colleges from various territories of India.
The event began with the opening day on 15th February when lamp lighting ceremony was conducted in presence of eminent educationist Prof. (Dr.) Pardeep Kumar, Honourable Chairman DCTM & President, Association of Self financing Institutions of Haryana. The opening day witnessed finals of the various cultural and sports events with Volley Ball final played between DCTM and RAWAL in which DCTM comes out as a winner and RAWAL as the runner up. The final of the Soccer played between YMCA and RAWAL which leads to YMCA team registering a terrific win over RAWAL team. The final of Basket Ball was played between DCTM and YMCA in which DCTM secured the runner up position while YMCA emerged as winner. The 200m race of boys result in Aman Kumar of YMCA as occupying first position, Yashvir of J. B. Knowledge Park at second and Tarun Kumar of DCTM at third position. Also 200m race of girls resulted into Rashmi of RAWAL and Kajal of J. B. knowledge Park as winning consecutively first and second positions. Apart from this, 400m relay of boys results into a nail biting chase made by Rupam Dev of DCTM for first position followed by Aman Kumar of YMCA and Akash Bisht of Rawal for second and third positions consecutively. While 400m relay of girls results into witnessing Prachi team of RAWAL at first position followed by Sengmai team of DCTM at second position.

The grand inter-college fest celebration witnessed the presence & participation of students from more than 20 colleges including Rawal, Lingayas, Aravali, MVN, Goenka University, NGF College, K R Manglam, SDIMT etc in various sports & cultural events.
The array of cultural events occurred with Akash Sinha of DCTM as winning the first and Aakash of SDIMT as second prize in Zara Nach Ke Dikha event. Showing dominance in cultural events, DCTM students again secured both first and second positions in Sanskriti event with Kanika team winning the first position and Mamta team the second position. The winning saga of DCTM students continued with both first and second positions of Mudra competition won by Ishita Vashishtha and Sonia Shukla successively. On the other side, Kumar Pushkal and Anwar Hussain of DCTM successfully captured both first and second positions in KRITI event. Also Akash team of DCTM and Sunny team SDIMT occupied first and second positions in Nach Baliye competition. Geet Gata Chal competition observed Dhuv Sethi of RAMANUJAN College as winner while Afzulur Rehman of DCTM as runner up. The STARTUP 2K16 event observed the participation of unique entrepreneurial projects from technocrats and managers in which Abhilash & team of DCTM secured the first prize for proposing Scrubber manufacturing project while Simran & team from DCTM captured second prize for proposing Solar Energy enabled internet wi-fi balloon project successfully. The Kaya Kalp event finds Nipu and team of DCTM as winner with Arjeet and team of RAWAL as runner up. Miraculous performance by Saptarshi of DCTM in Sargam event finds him as undisputed winner. The so-awaited Halla Bol competition finds Kapil and team of BSAITM as securing first prize while Shashikala and team of DCTM as second prize. The fest proceeds ahead with Rang De event finding Arjeet Singh team of RAWAL as capturing first prize while Anwar Hussain team of DCTM as second prize. Ceremony than followed by winning group dance performance of Meenakshi & Amidst foot tapping performances, the prizes were distributed by chief guest Mr. Satish Dev Jain, Vice Chairman, Indo Autotech Limited, Faridabad and also Chairman of Young Panel of FIA and Marathon committee,. also associated with Intact Entrepreneur club and Lions club; alonwith Guest of Honour Mr. S k goel, CEO, starwire industries; Mr. Pulkit Goel, starwire and Mr. Sajak kumar jain, Chairman, Indo Autotech limited. The special invitee present on the occasion were Mr. Satvir Patel, Principal, St. C. R. Sr. Sec. School Palwal and President, Private School Welfare Association, Palwal and Mr. Satish Kaushik, Principle, B. K. Sr Sec. Prof.(Dr.) Pardeep Kumar and the eminent guests from various reputed corporate of India than congratulated and awarded DCTM students certificates and cash prizes in various university toppers and college toppers award categories. The students who have received placement offers from reputed companies during the session were also provided offer letters. The chief guest appreciated training & placement department of DCTM college for achieving significant success in providing placement offers to the students from companies like Munjal Group, Bose, Wipro, Choice Group, Tasa Automotives, Midas Group, Nirala World, NBCC, Axis Bank, Airtel, IDBI Bank, Talbros Group, HDFC Bank, Innovar Digital, BookMyOffer, NetConnect and many others at lucrative packages, The cash prizes of Rs. 10000, Rs. 5000 and Rs. 2500 for first, second and third positions were given to college toppers. Suman Kumar Yadav. of B.Tech first year won the prize while Anjali and Pranay Kumar grabbed second and third prizes. Rohit Sharma of B.Tech Civil, Lata of B.Tech CSE, Mrinalini Wadhawan of B.Tech ECE, Devesh of B.Tech AUE and Mohit Sharma of B.Tech ME of second year won the first prize. Kaisar Bhat of B.Tech ECE, Jyoti Thakur of B.Tech CSE, S.K.Rakibul of B.Tech ME, Harkesh of B.Tech AUE and Khushboo of B.Tech CE of third year grabbed the first prize each. Rahul Kumar in M.Tech ME of first year got the first prize. Bhawna in M.Tech ECE, and Kanchan Rani in M.Tech ME second year got the first prize, Deepti Gaba.in BBA second year and Wasim Jamil of BBA third year won the first prize while Nishi Vashishtha in MBA first year, and Nancy of MBA second year won first prize each. Similarly students of second and third positions of all the years and branches were awarded with cash prizes. Also, cash prizes of Rs. 1000 and Rs. 500 were given to all the students maintaining excellence in attendance with percentage above 90%.
The renowned “Sony’s X-Factor” celebrity & star Vishal Srivastava, filled the entire environment with energy and excitement with his wonderful performances in Star Nite extravaganza. The Annual Professional C. L. Bahl award went to Mr. Lokesh Garg, Department of Electronics & Communication Engineering for excellence in academics and the work assigned beyond it, representing DCTM to be an example of a quality institution.

The programme was winded up with the eye catching fashion show performance of students, in which both the teams WZ Love team & WZ Gangster teams of DCTM successfully share the winner prize.
Dr Pardeep Kumar, Chairman, DCTM expressed appreciations to the winning candidates on their outstanding performances and assured the participants that DCTM will keep organizing such astonishing events in future too.
